Supporting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers, the Retail Service Specialist plays a crucial role in various aspects of retail operations, including sales, customer service, store appearance, and day-to-day activities. They are also expected to lead shifts when needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Direct the store team in offering outstanding customer service to both retail and professional patrons.
- Manage the customer service levels in the retail showroom by supervising the team's implementation of various programs such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, among others
- Ensure that telephone calls are responded to as per company regulations.
- Timely processing of all orders made online for store pickup, as well as transfers between stores and additional items from distribution centers, is essential, and customers need to be informed upon the arrival of their shipments.
- Handle special requests and outside procurements with efficiency and adherence to proper protocol, utilizing the electronic outside purchase order ledger for streamlined management.
- See to it that the efficient and friendly processing of retail customer returns and exchanges is maintained, ensuring that refunds are accurately administered using the correct payment methods, and that returned merchandise is appropriately handled or positioned in the returns area.
- Before any products are removed from the store, ensure that the invoice includes all items, such as core charges and warranties.
- Ensure the successful transmission of Zipline communications and the proper delegation and execution of tasks related to Image Maker and merchandising duties.
- Confirm that team members are abiding by the designated work hours, getting managerial authorization for any schedule adjustments, and observing the prescribed timekeeping procedures when recording their hours worked.
- Carry out store opening and closing tasks including concluding day-end processes, confirming and safeguarding cash and deposits per company policy, arranging bank deposits as required, making sure night security lights are activated, locking up and securing the establishment, activating and deactivating security alarms, and inspecting, securing, and locking delivery vehicles parked in a designated secure area.
