Job Description:
The real hourly wage will be at or above the mandatory minimum wage in effect for the job location, with additional compensation like yearly, quarterly, or premiums that may vary on an hourly basis depending on specific circumstances. These supplementary payments such as premiums may be contingent on factors like the work schedule, facility type, seasonal requirements, or the nature of the tasks involved. Various premiums could be applicable if the specific criteria are met.
The Retail Service Specialist assists the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer support, store maintenance, and operational areas. Additionally, they are required to manage shifts in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Lead and motivate store employees to excel in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the execution of customer service programs by team members in the retail showroom, including Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, and similar initiatives
- Follow the prescribed company procedures when picking up the phone.
- Efficiently manage the fulfillment of online orders for pickup in-store, transfers between different locations, and additional items from distribution centers, ensuring that customers are promptly notified when their shipments are ready for pickup.
- Ensure the smooth handling of special orders and external purchases by following the correct procedures and utilizing the electronic ledger designed for outside purchase orders.
- Ensure that retail customer returns and exchanges are efficiently managed in a friendly manner, refunds are accurately processed with appropriate payment methods, and returned items are correctly organized or positioned in the designated returns location.
- Prior to the departure of any merchandise from the store, make certain that the invoice accounts for all items, including core fees and warranties.
- Confirm that Zipline messages are relayed accurately and that tasks concerning Image Maker and merchandising are assigned and accomplished as directed.
- Maintain oversight to guarantee that team members are following the scheduled work hours, receiving approval from a manager for any changes to their schedules, and complying with the timekeeping protocols outlined by the company.
- Fulfill all store opening and closing obligations, including executing end-of-day procedures, authenticating and securing cash and deposits following company guidelines, preparing bank deposits when necessary, ensuring proper operation of night security lights, locking doors and securing the building, arming and disarming security alarms, and checking, securing, and locking delivery vehicles parked in a secure designated space.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Being able to gain certification in RSS signifies one's proficiency in obtaining it
Desired:
- Experience working in retail sales, particularly relating to automotive supplies, is beneficial
- Mastery of automotive systems and repair requires expertise in identifying problems within a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems
- ASE Certification
- Proficient in multiple languages, with a special emphasis on being fluent in Spanish
