In the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager, the Retail Service Specialist will take on responsibilities related to sales, customer care, store aesthetics, and operational duties. They will also be responsible for managing shifts during this time.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Guide and support store team members to ensure top-notch customer service is provided to all retail and professional customers.
- Oversee the customer service performance within the retail showroom, including how team members engage with and execute customer service programs like Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, and others
- Answer incoming calls in line with the company's guidelines.
- It is crucial to handle the processing of online orders for store pickup, transfers between stores, and additional orders from distribution centers efficiently, and to communicate with customers promptly when their shipments are ready for collection.
- Efficiently process special orders and external purchases in compliance with established procedures, making use of the electronic ledger dedicated to outside purchase orders.
- Guarantee that the processing of retail customer refunds and exchanges is conducted effectively and warmly, ensuring that refunds are accurately provided with the right payment methods, and that returned products are correctly managed or prepared in the designated returns zone.
- It is essential to invoice all products, including core charges and warranties, before they are taken out of the store.
- It is essential to communicate Zipline notifications clearly and ensure that responsibilities regarding Image Maker and merchandising are allocated and fulfilled as required.
- Monitor team members to ensure they are complying with the official work timetable, obtaining management consent for any schedule modifications, and following the organization's guidelines for time tracking.
- Execute all duties associated with the commencement and conclusion of store operations, which involve conducting end-of-day procedures, authenticating and safeguarding funds and deposits in accordance with company regulations, preparing necessary bank deposits, affirming the functionality of night security lighting, locking all entrance points and securing the establishment, arming and disarming security alarm systems, and verifying, protecting, and locking delivery vehicles parked in a secure designated spot.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Obtaining certification in RSS demonstrates one's competence in achieving it
Desired:
- Background in selling retail products, particularly in the auto parts industry, is preferred
- Proficiency in automotive systems and repair involves familiarity with the operation and upkeep of various vehicle components
- ASE Certification
- Ability to speak multiple languages, with a strong preference for being fluent in Spanish
