Fulfillment Operations Driver

Job Description:

The Delivery Specialist is tasked with using and caring for store vehicles to transport items to professional clients securely and with efficiency. Moreover, the position involves processing payments for cash-on-delivery orders and retrieving merchandise that customers want to send back.

Individuals who are able to converse in two languages are advised to apply.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Deliver merchandise to clients by driving company vehicles in a secure and expedient manner.
• Ability to use delivery fleet management hand-held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, complete daily vehicle inspections, etc.
• Entrusted with the duty of preserving the cleanliness, maintenance, and carrying out daily vehicle inspections before operation.
• Obligated to secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and collected monies to prevent any unauthorized access.
• Handle customer returns, including new items, warranties, core deposits, and complete the driver return slip.
• Communicate customer challenges or special requirements to the store management team effectively.
• Inform the store manager immediately of any vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to vehicles.
• Before leaving for the day, make sure the vehicle is locked and the fuel tank is filled to capacity.
• Abide by the protocols for marking your attendance as per the company's guidelines.
• Other duties as requested could entail addressing customer needs, cleaning and organizing, restocking inventory, setting up product displays, carrying out errands, managing returns, checking and arranging new stock, and so on.
• Willing and ready to help customers, conduct transactions as a cashier, and contribute to merchandising tasks when necessary, including responsibilities like phone assistance, sales, and customer service
• Other assignments may be designated as well.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES

Required:

• Skill in quickly matching alphanumeric series.
• Competent at engaging in effective conversations with others.
• Competence in effectively adapting to changing delivery situations with speed.
• The driving record must adhere to the guidelines specified in the corporate 14/18-point record structure.
• The possession of a legally mandated state driver's license and adherence to company driving eligibility prerequisites are necessary.

Desired:

• Proficient in identifying different automotive parts.
• Proficient in the operation of various tools used in light stores.
• Competence in multiple languages, with a focus on proficiency in Spanish.
