Backroom Stock Clerk

Job Summary:

Individuals in the role of Backroom Stock Clerks at Hobby Lobby are responsible for stock and merchandise management during non-operating hours. This job is ideal for those who prefer working in roles with reduced customer interaction and during off-peak times.

Responsibilities:

• Process the reception, unloading, and sorting of products during shipment deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Replenish shelves, maintaining an orderly presentation in line with the store's layout and safety instructions.
• Oversee inventory management practices and sustain elevated quality thresholds for audits.
• Keep aisles, end caps, and displays organized and clean to promote a professional store atmosphere.
• Support in implementing adjustments to the store layout, including the repositioning of shelves and the setup of new display units.
• Notify management promptly of any inconsistencies, damages, or concerns with the merchandise.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of stocking tasks or a similar background is preferred but not compulsory.
• Displaying admirable physical endurance to handle challenging tasks like lifting heavy loads and staying upright for the majority of the work shift.
• Proficiency in self-directed work with minimal oversight.
• Thoroughness in attending to details and proficiency in tackling problems.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Possession of a high school diploma or its equivalent is essential.
