Job Description:
The hourly pay will meet or surpass the mandated minimum wage for the job's location, with the possibility of extra earnings such as yearly or quarterly bonuses, as well as additional compensation that can vary per hour based on certain situations. Additional payments like bonuses may depend on factors like the schedule, location, time of year, or type of tasks carried out. It's possible to receive multiple bonuses if all the relevant conditions are satisfied.
The Retail Service Specialist is responsible for assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Managers with sales, customer service, store presentation, and operational tasks. They are also tasked with overseeing shifts when the Assistant or Store Manager is not available.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Supervise store staff to deliver exceptional customer service to both retail and professional clientele.
- Monitor the customer service standards at the retail showroom, ensuring that team members effectively implement various customer service initiatives such as Related sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, Rock the Lot, etc
- Adhere to the company's protocol when answering phone calls.
- Make sure that all online purchases with in-store pickup options, hub and inter-store transfers, as well as distribution center additional orders are completed promptly, with necessary notifications sent to customers upon arrival of their shipments.
- Make sure that special requests and external acquisitions are managed effectively and in line with protocol, using the electronic ledger for outside purchase orders.
- Make sure that retail customers' returns and exchanges are handled promptly and courteously, refunds are issued correctly utilizing the appropriate payment methods, and returned items are managed or prepared in the returns section accurately.
- Make sure that all items, such as core fees and guarantees, are included in the invoice prior to the goods being taken from the shop.
- Make sure that Zipline messages are effectively conveyed and that tasks related to Image Maker and merchandising are appropriately assigned and finished according to instructions.
- Make sure that team members follow the established work hours, seek approval from a manager for any schedule alterations, and adhere to the company's timekeeping policies for clocking in and out.
- Complete all responsibilities related to opening and closing the store, such as carrying out end-of-day protocols, validating and protecting funds and deposits following corporate guidelines, making bank deposits when necessary, confirming that night security lights are functioning, locking up the premises and ensuring the building is secure, activating and deactivating security alarms, and inspecting, safeguarding, and securing delivery vehicles parked in a specified secure location.

SKILLS/EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/ABILITIES
Required:
- Strong communication skills
- Earning an RSS Certification showcases one's capability to acquire it
Desired:
- Prior experience in the retail sector, with a focus on automotive components, is desirable
- Understanding automotive systems and repair entails possessing comprehensive knowledge of vehicle functions and maintenance procedures
- ASE Certification
- Proficiency in several languages, with a preference for fluency in Spanish
